Noah was invited to his friend Kai's 6th birthday party and said that he would like to buy him Lego for his present. What else does one buy boys!! It's either all about Lego or Trashies at the moment.
This is oh so time comsuming but you'd be surprised how many people at the party though it was actual Lego blocks!
To make it you need to use the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch set and punch, punch and punch as many circles as you can out of as many different colours of cardstock as you like!
One you've got the circles, I roll the edges on the coordinating ink pad to give them some depth. This is pretty messy but does make a difference.
The blocks are the following approximate measurements, in centimeters:
8 piece block - 4.5 x 2.5
4 piece block - 2.5 x 2.5
5 piece long block - 5.7 x 1.3
2 piece long block - 2.5 x 1.3
It is a little expensive to do but I used mini glue dots on the back of each circle to raise them like they are on the actual Lego blocks. You could just use a dab of a Tombow glue or similar but I don't think it works as well.
The backing piece of cardstock is Garden Green which is to resemble one of those square Lego boards. Once it's altogether just adhere it to the final card blank - in this case Whisper White.
The sentiment is from an very old set but the one I would use now that I've finally bought the set would be either Bring on the Cake or the new hostess set Wacky Wishes. I have made another card but a square one which I will show you tomorrow.
